Our Life Matters
Many feel like what they do has no grand consequence, but they couldn’t be further from the truth. Our life matters because of who we are becoming and who we affect in this life. A simple smile to a passing stranger can restore someone’s spirit after a bad day. Telling a child how happy it makes you to be able to spend time with them can fill that child with confidence. The words we say, the looks we give, and the actions we share have influence on other people. We always matter to God. God always is concerned for us and wants us to be our best selves; for our good and the good of others. Just imagine a world where no one lied or cheated a world without violence and abuse… that is what kind of world we would have if everyone lived the commandments and care how their life affected others. Do your part to create that world.

President Dieter F. Uchtdorf “What Matters Most” teaches us what matters most in our life: Our Families and loved ones. |
Elder Jeffery R. Holland “Good Things to Come” shows a story of a man who had to keep trying when life seemed to keep having problems. Elder Holland compassionately says, “Don’t you quit… don’t you quit.” He continues “It will be alright in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come.” Elder Holland is reminding us that we all have ups and downs in life and we must believe in the journey of becoming in this life. We need to keep going for your loved ones and not lose faith or hope when times are hard. We all need to reach out to God and He will help us have more strength than we ever could on our own. |
